Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: you know where to watch Marvel’s hit

The movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which was released in Brazilian theaters this May, arrives on the Disney+ catalog this Wednesday (2), at 4 a.m. Starring Chris Pratt (Super Mario Bros – The Movie), the film follows Peter Quill and the Guardians of the Galaxy on a new mission, this time without Gamora, to defend the universe and protect Rocket (original voice by Bradley Cooper). Plot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is still recovering from the loss of his beloved Gamora (Zoe Saldaña) after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), when he must gather the Guardians of the Galaxy to defend the universe and protect a from partners. Also, Rocket the raccoon (Bradley Cooper) still has to deal with ghosts from his past despite looking for a new life. If this mission is not successful, the end of Guardians of the Galaxy as we know it is certain.

Cast and crew

The Guardians of the Galaxy film trilogy stars Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, played by actor Chris Pratt. Apart from him, actors Chukwudi Iwuji (John Wick: A New Day to Kill), Dave Bautista (Dune), Karen Gillan (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Will Poulter (Maze Runner: Run or Die) are also part of the the cast

The production also features voices from actors Bradley Cooper (A Star Is Born), Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious) and Maria Bakalova (Death, Death, Death) as the characters Rocket, Groot and Cosmo, respectively. Director James Gunn is responsible for directing and writing the film.

Effect

On niche sites, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 received an incredible response from critics and audiences. On Rotten Tomatoes, for example, the feature received 82% from critics and 94% from audiences. On IMDb, it has a rating of 8.1, based on more than 238,000 reviews.

Wendy Ide, do The guardian, describes the film as an emotional rollercoaster. “While much of Marvel’s output has been clouded lately in a flashy onslaught of over-the-top multiverse-hopping, the Guardians of the Galaxy films, for better or worse, have always had a distinct personality,” he wrote.

As for Charles Pulliam-Moore, from the website The lip, the script is too emotional. “James Gunn’s third Guardians film is full of impressive set pieces, but poor attempts at sentimentality and a by-the-numbers plot keep it from taking off,” he said.
